10/20/2001--Tampa, Florida. Buddy Bi-Rite, one of the largest rent to own companies
in the southeast retained Tampa's The Media Factory www.themediafactory.com
to take on the challenge of developing its corporate extranet site as well as
the development of the Buddy's Home Furnishings site. The project also involves
the linking and networking of all 50 Buddy's stores which The Media Factory
also handled.
Buddy's corporate extranet site will streamline product inventory, allow for
the downloading and sharing of marketing materials, improve training procedures
by utilising The Media Factory's own e-Learning software Sensa and provide a
more interactive human resource department. The Buddy's Home Furnishings site
will offer an extensive product catalog, the ability for customers to be pre-qualified
for rent to own services and the capability for customers to locate the store
nearest to them.

The Buddy's sites will be built in three phases. The first phase will be launched
by October 15th with the final phase ending June 15, 2002. Buddy Bi-Rite provides
rent to own services in 50 stores across the southeastern United States and
has planned a store expansion of an additional 20 stores over the next few years.
