Tampa, FL (August 7, 2003) The Media Factory has expanded the application of its Sensa e-learning technology by collaborating with Multiple Qualifications, Inc. (MultiQual). MultiQual will use Sensa, an online e-learning system, to deliver contractor courses via this easy-to-use, customizable, dynamic e-learning software.
MultiQual is a Miami-based company owned by Jeridee Goodkin, Senior Building Official for the City of Miami Beach. Goodkin has written more than 70 training courses for contractors that have been approved by various construction and licensing boards in Florida. With courses already created and approved, MultiQual needed a cost-effective, accessible way to deliver its continuing education material.
Though they are competitors in the continuing education market place, MultiQual and The Media Factory joined forces to develop Professional Affordable Continuing Education (PACE.) "PACE is a natural extension of our successful Sensa e-learning system," said Ron May, Vice President of The Media Factory.
The Sensa e-learning system provides a "rock solid" technology for course building and distribution. "Providers no longer need a technical staff to build and distribute educational content," said David Arnold, President of The Media Factory.
The Media Factory packaged the Sensa e-learning system with a merchant system (allowing for direct sales through the Internet.) MultiQual now provides courses directly to individuals. State approved courses and exams are taken on-line by trainees with their results posted directly to the Construction and Licensing Board's database. It's cost-effective, efficient, and fast.
"With Sensa, updates and changes can be easily managed without an IT staff, a degree in software programming, or a lot of add-on software," said Arnold.
